THE HUMAN CONNECTION INSTITUTE

        The Human Connection Institute establishes strategic alliances with organizations that want to create and explore ways to achieve a conscious corporate culture--common ground for groups of people with different skills and opinions to productively meet and collaborate.  We are also focused on building a research institute devoted to training.  Our vision is to further the development of collective consciousness in every area of human endeavor.

        Our research shows that healthy organizations are self-organizing systems controlled not solely by intentional strategies, but by the cohesiveness and collective intelligence of their members.  Organizations can no longer be carefully planned, predictable systems controlled by leaders.  Today’s business environment is characterized by rapid technological development, information flow, interdependence and diversity between people.  Rapid change makes it increasingly difficult to stay “in control.”

       Sperry Andrews would like to offer the senior partners, associates and staff of your organization a glimpse of what we have learned about how today’s leaders can respond when traditional forms of control prove impossible.

 

INTERCONNECTED AWARENESS

        The experience of sharing an interconnected awareness process with others, although widely understood, is not often practiced.  People speak of being in tune with one another.  In sports, athletes talk about “being in the zone” and of “going with the flow” referring to those moments when team members are so aligned with their own individuality, and with each other, that they play as one synchronous whole.  Similarly, the precision of a symphony orchestra is a reflection of the underlying unity and purpose of its performers.  In business, most successful entrepreneurs attribute their achievements throughout their careers to remarkable instances of teamwork.

 

OUR PROGRAMS

        As of 1998, ten years of trial and error have led to the development of the following scientifically-derived techniques.  These techniques do not require the adoption of a belief system.  People from all backgrounds discover the enjoyment of full participation.   

        The Group Insight Game™ is a four hour exercise.  Each member becomes conscious with everyone else in the group, and can be counted on to support and balance the actions of others.  Interest is developed in group intelligence, agreement in action, and a more innovative, coordinated way of being and working.

        The Self-Organization Seminar™  is a weekend workshop that reduces the need for externally imposed rules and regulations.  It shifts participants to treat themselves, others, and the environment with greater understanding.  Sharing awareness--in this way--creates a leaderless (or leaderful) group, that acts in concert.  Conflict gives way to rapport.  Consensus is easily reached.  Enjoyment is shared.  Every person, from secretary to CEO, experiences unanimity.

        The Organization Intensive™ is a five day experience that develops the capacity of a group to produce whatever its members intend.  In this state of mental and emotional coherence, each person experiences the intelligence of being interconnected.  There is the joy of feeling at peace with everyone and everything.  It seems impossible to do anything wrong.  What was disturbing and overwhelming, appears organized and interesting.  The uniqueness of individual consciousness is experienced as literally indivisible from the consciousness of others.  Paradoxically, individuals are able to strengthen their boundaries while merging with the synergy of a group.

        Once in this state, people can enjoy work or play.  There are many known applications: healing, both psychological and physical; rapid consensus for decision making, problem solving and creative development in business, politics, community and family life including relationships; optimum performance in sports or any collaborative activity from symphony orchestras to surgical teams.

A Facilitator’s Training program exists for companies and consultants who wish to extend and enhance their already existing capabilities.

 

CONDITIONS FOR SUCCESS

        From business experience, we know a single conscious executive is sometimes moved to call in people who perform services comparable to ours.  Yet a transformation cannot succeed unless it has more than one advocate.  There must be the support of other key decision makers, willing to suspend disbelief and start at zero, ready to give of themselves.  We can succeed only if we are supported by a significant percentage of senior management.

        We do not intend to tell anyone how to do their job.  We are not nuts and bolts consultants.  We trust that you have gifted, capable people already working with you.  Our talent is to work with your people to assist them to access their highest potentials.  We create, day by day, a space in which people progressively develop their understanding of one another, becoming more able to choose their future--together.

        The likelihood of lifting people into a state of optimum rapport may seem doubtful, but it is actually within reach.  It occurs once all the intelligence in a company is focused--through a shared awareness--on serving an intended purpose.  We do not assume that our initial efforts will automatically lead to guaranteed success either.  We know that success calls for follow-through--by you and us.  We are confident that, together, we can produce truly remarkable results.
